Need a new bumper, any ideas?

Alright well my front bumper has been hit and I need a new one.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to get one cheaper than factory?

We discussed all the oem online parts places here (scroll down page one):

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=179592

Front is 200 (or so) and rear is 140... then I think you'd have to get it painted as I don't think bumpers come prepainted like spoilers...

I,m a bodyman and deal with it all the time. There are reman company's that pick up our takeoffs and repair them. You could pick one of these up usually for half to 3/4 of the price of new OEM. I'm in Chicago so I really couldn't help you with a certain company or # but it's something you could dig deeper for in your area. good luck.....

Aftermarket bumpers like the ones made in Taiwan are usually around half the price. The quality however isn't as good as the oem ones. There are companies that sell just made in Taiwan or China nock offs. It just depends if you want to sacrifice quality for a low price.

Keep in mind also that a knock off bumper may not be made to withstand the small bumper impacts that factorys ones are. So a 3-5mph bump may result in damage.

Not only will quality likely suck but fitment of a/f body panels suck too. Ever seen a collision repair done with a/m parts? The car doesn't go back together right. I say Genuine Honda/Acura parts or not at all.

It sounds like you guys got my post mixed up.EWhat I said was there are companies that take bumper covers that are not that damaged and repair those and then resell them. These are not Tong Yang parts. They are OEM off a different vehicle. They will fit fine and as long as the company has been around a while they will look just like new.
