Got ran off the road by another car last and smashed a 6 inch high concrete median at about 40 mph. All four tires are flat and at least 2 rims are cracked on the inside. Acura service is closed today but i need to know how much a set of new 01 type s rims and tires will cost me. The faster you can respond the better, I really appreciate your help.

400/tire is what a friend of mine paid in sa (he only needed 2 though so maybe you can get a volume discount)

I think that the rims are about $300 each and the tires abotu $200! GO the black market section in this forum. THere are always people tryin to get rid of their old stock rims! You can probably get them for like $600 or so.

I paid $610.24 for two rims, and $453.26 for two tires, plus tax, when I wrecked the right sides one night. Came to around $1,200.00 after the alignment. Ouchie!!

Same thing happened to my friend.

He called his insurance and they fixed/replaced everything and it barely cost him anything.

But you gotta have good insurance cause the setup is expensive.

Depends on the dealer 300-425 a rim, your better off taking the splurge and getting some aftermarket one you want. The true question is did you do damage to the control arms, a-arm, and motor mounts? That would be expensive. ~3 grand. Good luck, hope its not too serious.

6 inch median at 40 mph i hope nothing else is fucked up!

you might just want to go to your local wheel shop and buy some aftermarket rims and tires cause if you purchase everything direct from the dealership its going to come out the same!

you will probably need an alignment and you might want to check to see if your shocks and struts are ok also you might want to check your cv boots and sways for any damages too!

but if your main concern is for new tires and rims go aftermarket if you want OEM try the blackmarket or ebay...

Dont buy the stock michelins. Go with something else, they'll be better and CHEAPER.

First of all thank you all for you input. This is what I get for being the sober driver on my best friends 21st. I just had the car towed to Acura so they could check for any damage beyond what i can see. Was thinking the same as many of you said, and just getting the 19's i wanted in the first place with diff tires. Stock michs suck ass anyways. So... we'll get a call on monday from acura. I'll keep you posted on the situation. Why cant people stop at red lights?
