Hey all, I'm new here. This is my first post. The people on this board seems really cool.

So here is the debate.

Me and my buddy are having this arguement about TL-S and CL-S rims. I think that the TL-S and the CL-S rims are slightly different but virtually the same (5 spoke one), and are interchangeable. (Same size, offset, lug patterns etc...)

He thinks that they are not the same, basically the offset.

Can anyone clarify?

Can a CL-S rims fit and ride just as good on a TL as TL-S rims.

The only difference is:

TL-s Rim is 6.5" wide and CL-S rim is 7" wide. CLS rims stick a bit and will get scratched easily.

 

The spokes on the CL-S rims get narrower as you go to the outside of the rim whereas the TL-S don't.

 

Nashua_Night_Hawk - Thanks I did not know that. Does anyone know if the offset is the same?

 

I'm pretty sure that they both have a +55mm offset

 

The side of the spokes on the TLS has a darker shade of paint.
