damn the silicone is pissing me off.... how can u get rid of that??? tips tips tips !!!!!!!!!!!!! does gAS workS?

Gotta heat it up with the blowdryer like crazy. Get as much off as you can.

and also what kind of silicone should i buy? where can i buy them at? i went homedepot but that guy told me the silicone they sells are only for door, windows but it wont stay on PLASTIC.... i just bought something call *LATEX CAULK REMOVER* to remove my old silicone... hope it works :sqnteek:

Just pop them in the oven for a few minutes. It works so much better than a hair dryer. I put mine in for 4 minutes at 200 (dont pre heat) and than put them back in for 2 minutes or so as the silicone started to harden back up. I used some clear silicone from wal-mart and it worked great.

you can use fireplace silicone. It is clear, will stick to glass & plastic, will take the heat from the sun beating on your headlights in the summer, and can handle extreme temperature changes for the winter.
It is inexpensive (less than $20 for a caulk-gun tube), ace hardware carries it.
