Need help with Auto-up for windows, please.
Need help with Auto-up for windows, please.
Hey I wondering if anyone experienced this...
I have an aftermarket alarm system with the "windows up" kit. This kit closes the windows when I lock the doors and arm the alarm.
There is a problem though. The regular stock auto-up is not working correctly. When I press the auto-up button from inside my car, the window goes all the way up, and then comes down right away a couple of inches. As if there is something in it's way, and the protection gets triggered.
The way the aftermarket windows roll up unit works, is that it goes straight to the the windows motor, and does not touch any stock wires or sencors or anything. My installer is really puzzled by this and could not give me any solution for this problem. He has installed this system on many other cars that have the AUTO-UP, but mine is the first one with such a problem.
Any one has any thought on this? Thanks.

I also have the viper790xv w/windows up and down and have no problems what so ever. Plus I had other viper alarms on my other cars with windows and never had a problem also. The vipers have a vent option, this is what i was trying to establish with asking what alarm he had to know if it was malfunctioning.
