Need advice on New Car

My dad is looking for a car for his wife, it's going to be a lease.

The three options as I understand them are the
RX330
MDX
xc90

Anyone know of any problems with the three? I think they are looking specifically at the RX330.

price is the key, I like the new mdx's but as of now the leases are still really high.

I had the RX330 for a loaner car a few weeks back and it was really nice. Comfortable to drive, smooth ride, good pickup, no complaints. Plus, the lexus service is amazing. I don't think your family will be disappointed.

Keep in mind that the hybrid should be coming out later this year for the RX.

RX 330 invented the car-based SUV, is the best-selling luxury SUV and is an incredilble vehicle. Added bonuses are the Lexus service.
I'd only get the MDX if u need 3 rows of seats. The interior is sorely lacking.
The Tourag is cool but overpriced and build is iffy.
I've heard of the Volvo SUV having quality issues already.

All are nice SUVs, there is no wrong choice. My hard earned bucks would get the RX 330. If it's for her, she will truly love it.

Remember the Lexus is a new model. I tend to not buy the first year of a new, or re-deisgned model. Let them work out the bugs.

The VW is nice, but is is overpriced.

The MDX is nice too. I'd take an MDX over anything.

Highlander Limited 6 cylinder--RX330 light with same engine--built in Japan at same Lexus factory as the 330--Try it-- for$$$$6000-10000 less, it's worth a ride.

Stay away from those Goodyear Integrity tires--mine hydroplaned and had to be replaced--tend to be factory tires on lots of SUV's.

How you figure? It comes with more than the MDX will ever have.

Lets not forget a better engine.

My parents has a 04 RX330 FWD. The vehicle is comfortable for a SUV's standard. The ride is quiet, although still not up to Camry or ES330's level. The suspension is not super soft, and it will transmit some noise while going over noneven surface. The steering wheel is very light, and I like the feeling of the smooth wooden part on the wheel. It has enough cargo space, it can hold two boxes of 20" TV simultaneously(you need to know that the box is way bigger than the TV itself) after you flip the rear seats down. Its main problem is probably the lack of power, especially when you are going uphill, this 3.3L V6 seems kind of arduous to accelerate, plus the engine roars through the cabin so you can hear some deep noise. If your dad's wife doesn't drive fast while going turns, then the body-lean is very minimal. The touchscreen navi is very user-friendly, my mom just loves to use it. I love its exterior look, very sporty feeling and non-SUV like, especially when it is in dark colors or white. In my opinion White, Black, Flint Mica, and that dark blue all look super good, but the Lexus guys told my parents that the mainstream buyers loves those gold, baige, water blue colors. I have not driven the AWD version, but I assume should be similar.
Overall the vehicle feel like a mid-sized car.

My vote goes to the RX330.

Very uncomfortable though. Seats are hard as a rock.

I recommend the new RX330.
