Hello guys. My friend is about to drop a fully built & supercharged CL-S engine (stroked to 3.5) and 5AT (upgraded with Level 10 PTS kit) in his Accord.
We're looking for some criticism about the following setup. Expected power output in the 400-450 whp range. 250 lph fuel pump with 420cc injectors. Eaton blower (fitted like Comptech's). FMIC. Throttle body on top of the intake. We want the by-pass / blow off valve as close as possible to the throttle body to reduce lag (because of the FMIC), which explains why we want to get rid of the blower's internal by-pass. I know the BOV would be releasing metered air (which isn't a great idea for tuning) but routing a by-pass valve wouldn't be so practical either. What do you guys recommend ?
We would really like to try the upgraded 5AT before switching to something beefier like Dr. Evil. With that in mind, I asked a few questions and realized that there's no quick fix to increase line pressure (therefore increase the clutch pack's life)... Increasing the duty cycle of the signal going to the control solenoid would do the trick but I want to know if that signal is generated by the ECU or is there another control unit dedicated to the transmission.
Sorry about all these questions...
Thanks a lot guys !!
Alex

The guy lost part of his left leg in a bike accident a few years ago. If all else fails, he may consider a 6sp...
I exchanged a few emails with Steve Calbert but I understand he's a busy man and don't want to take too much of his time. That's why I'm asking here. Good or bad, voice your opinion guys...

Level 10 is POS
Dr. Evil is expensive one but the best and so far reliable option for your Accord V6
I assume stock AV6 ECU used?
Is block built? What CR (compression ratio) are the pistons?
What Eaton blower model is used?
BOV is not needed with SC.
Intercooler kit is a must along with E-Manage FMU - Scalbert is the source![Wink](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Good luck!

02AV6, we're using CL-S transmission and ECU.
block is fully built, 9:1 compression, running between 12 and 15psi of boost (not decided yet, need to keep the Intake Air Temperature at reasonable levels).
Blower is an Eaton M90 out of a Grand Prix GTP.
We'll use a custom Front Mount Intercooler.
Main question mark is that damn transmission !!

Post pics..
Would be nice to see how you figure out MP90 fitment and make it work.
Who made the sleeves and is it solid deck?
As far as CL-S 5AT I heard VR in FL can improve you autotragic. Search, some people here have the upgrade.
Good luck!

Thanks man ! I don't know what was done to the block...
All I can say about the blower fitment is that it will be interesting and will involve a custom bracket LOL
I'll check out Velocity Racing and post pics when the project's done.
Thanks again !
