As the title says my leather shifter boot is worn and they are asking too much for a new one. What have your guys used to replace them and does anyone have a spare one they are willing to sell me? Please let me know. I have used relinegoods before but I like the stock size and leather on the 03. Let me know guys. Thanks

mustang was thick leather and I did not like it as much although it was quality. Maybe I will go faux alcantara

 

No, the leather is thicker than the stock one. Mine was so bad when I purchased the one from Redline, that I was just happy to have a nice replacement. Have you contacted the vendor in the thread below?

Maybe if you send him your old shift boot, he can break it down at the seams, concoct a workable pattern, and sew you one up using thinner leather?

 

Went with the faux alcantara from redline goods and a new 07 type-s shift knob. Well see how i like it. Let me know if someone is interetsed in my old knob which is the same 07 one with a little wear. My buddy in parts ordered the 03 cl one for me accidentally and it was like $230. Why are these parts getting so expensive on these interior parts lol. I spent 70 on the 07 one
