Custom Italian leather Armrest cover and 6 speed shift boot

These are custom made to our cars, they are not universal products! I had to send my stock stuff to poland to have these made for our cars! The manufactorer is Redline goods and the website is http://www.redlinegoods.com. You can choose several different colors of leather, and several different thread colors as well. Email them for further info. Anyways here are the pix

Ok first... Why would you want an armrest that doesn't match the rest of the leather in your car?

Second... Redline goods is a vendor on the forum I visit for my explorer and I have mixed feelings about this company

This is exactly what I was offered for my explorer. The catch seems to be that you have to send yours in, as well as pay for the one they send you. If you document the install to their expectations they will refund the cost of the armrest or shift boot. To me that sounds way too easy for them to not refund the cost

I like it, lets face it, the one in our cars is some shoddy leather. I can imagine it would feel better to rest your arm on the new leather. I'd like to get the seats upholstered in leather like that, along w/ the door trim. I've thought of doing that, our seats are not that great of leather. But it would be expensive. Wouldn't send my seats to Poland, but there are company's that import some nice leather, you just have to pay.

any interior upholstery shop can produce that. why send your stuff anywhere? just find a local auto upholstery place.

It'd be nice to do all the leather like that. Would really up the interior spec.

Unbolt your armrest, bring to shop, tell them what you want, pick up in a day or 2...Seems pretty simple for the same look.

you really think? i dont like the grainy leather, looks cheap to me. i think the leather we have in our car is just fine, nice and smooth, perferated seats.

You guys seem to be bashing pretty hard. The stock shift boot and armrest are not leather, there vinyl. These look and feel much much better. And as far as the website goes, i was the one that had to send my stuff in, i just havent sent him the pix yet so he hasnt updated his website to show this item being availible. You dont need to send him any of your stuff. So far my experience has been great with this seller. ive seen alot of people on this forum too try to upgrade there shift boot or whatever to something universal and they dont fit perfect. Well these are made for our cars so they fit perfectly. And i just chose the black leather and blue stiching, if you want a different color, go for it. Im not sure if you could ever get an exact leather match to our cars, the dies vary from hide to hide so it very hard to get an exact match, unless all the leather is from the same hide. It only cost me 50 bux to get both items that i feel was a very worthwhile upgrade, specially since the vinyl on the armest was peeling in the back. Plus i will get that 50.00 back when i send him my pix.

And the cookies are from albertsons lol

silva we're just bashing your balls because the story is kinda funny, its not like you just went down the street to get it done. all in good humor. never the less you have an awesome car. thats on 03 right? vinyl already peeling? damn id take that to a dealer if you still have a warranty, sounds like someone spilt thier golden grain on it lol. when it comes to replacing minute things like that i would have bought a new steering wheel, yeah more expensive but you would appreciate it a lot more than a new arm rest and shift boot

Wow. Im suprised some of you think Redline goods is shadey. Ive been a customer of there and also know many people on other forums that have bought these boots. the leather is amazing. I did email them about sending mine in but never got around to it. I had these boots and armrest on my Maxima. The leather is extremely nice and the stitching is great.

I think they are a great business.

Yes its an 03. The vinyl was peeling on the back of the armrest, and i dont think any warranty would cover that. Thats probably considered wear. Plus my manufactors warranty is out. I have an aftermarket warranty but it does not cover interior trim. I was considering buying a new armrest but there over 300.00 and thats just way too much, specially when i was able to get something a lot nicer for free basically. And its real leather, not vinyl.

I had a TL shift knob, but switched to the skunk2 knob, and strut king shift boot adapter when i got my new leather shift boot.

My old TL knob and boot are for sale too if anyones interested
