Will a 19x8 rims with an offset of +35 fit a 2002 TL-S?

Nope, never. Need something in the neighborhood of +50 for a TLS.

If you are lowered, you can go 19X8 with +45 but need to trim off the rear tabs. Anything lower than +45 will rub for sure and will need to roll the fenders. Stick with something +47 and higher.

+45 is the minimum without frequent rubbing.

I'd say like a +48...I think the TLS wheel wells aren't as deep.

+45 offset is the lowest, I wish our wells were deep so I could get some nice chrome deep dish rims.

Exactly, that's why the TLS wheels are only 6.5" width. Listen to the guys that own TLs.
