Navigation Issue-2001 Cls-help Please

i drive a 2001 cl type-s
i have subs in the back under the navi deck.

my navigation system currently does not work.
it shows the blue screen with the yellow box that reads:

-NAVIGATION UNIT DOOR IS OPEN OR NO DISC IS INSTALLED-

the disc is installed and the door seems fine.
the disc also has absolutely no scratches and is in perfect condition.

has anyone had a similar problem? if so.....any ideas on a fix that doesn't involve the dealer would be nice....(no warranty...)

and yes, i have searched the website but not found the same problem. i have found similar problems that members have had, but nothing that is helping me.
thank you in advance for any information you may have.

Make sure all the cables in the back are properly plugged in. I think that might be your issue.

I started by pulling the upper intake manifold off and the supercharger. I wanted to port and polish the upper intake and the supercharger parts. Here is the before and after of all the parts.
This is the long elbow off the blower

This is the Collector pipe for compressed air exiting the blower

These are the upper intake plenum covers

i have read that the magnets may play a role in the issues i'm having...but it doesn't make much sense to me because my navi worked perfectly fine for over a year or two with the subs in the back....

i guess it couldn't hurt to take them out and see if anything changes though.

i've checked all the wiring harnesses on the back of the navi deck...
wires are all unharmed and secure.

Same thing happened to me. I have a system in my car with a lot of thump. It wasn't my system apparently when the temperature would go up I had that same issue. I took it to the dealership they upgraded the DVD still kept getting the same problem. They finally took the NAVI out and sent it out to their service center in Cali. It took them almost 3 months to fix the issue; I had a loaner the whole time. They finally fixed the problem; I believe they replaced the hard drive. It took them a while to diagnose the problem. It's not your system believe me I now crank it up to where my insides vibrate and have no issues with my navi. One more thing they fixed it all under warranty.
