I didn't like the flush look. I did the road lamps too. Attached it with stainless safety wire.

I made it so it could be returned back to original. After taking off the chrome wing, I dremeled the center part of the grill that holds the "A". I took off about 1/2" to get the mesh to fit up against center bar. I didn't like the way most mesh grills I've seen are cut at an angle along the top edge so I cut a wedge out of the center and used .020 safety wire to hold it together and hid it behind the "A". So now there's an uncut edge along the top edge of the grill. Filled the holes for the chrome wing with spot putty and painted it and the mesh with dark metallic grey. I twisted safety wire to attach the mesh to the grill.
