What's the recommended interval for changing your tranny fluid per the owner's manual? Just curious since I'm at work and my manual's at home. I'll be doing it every 15K miles from here on out since that's what Wayne "strongly recommended" in another post. That is, of course, if this tranny even lasts another 15K miles.

Does anyone know how the lemon law works (if this is the case)?
The Lemon law is basically one that means the seller cannot sell the car with knowledge of it being defective and malfunctioning. If this were the 3rd year model of a car, then u may have a case, but at this point, Acura can prolly say this is an apparent design flaw that could of only showed up in real-world tests.. Again Acura may be able to screw us!

Well, the lemon law would apply if you had to have your tranny replaced 3 times, at least in Florida it's like that. If any major part of the car fails 3 times within the first 2 years you are entitled to a full refund or a new car. This also applies if you're unable to use your car due to a major failure for any 30 days, and they don't have to be consecutive days. I'm pretty sure about it being 30 days, but I may be off. Just keep records of all the work done and the time spent at the dealer. I really doubt I'll have to replace the tranny 3 damn times, or at least I hope. If my car lasts I just think I'm going to get rid of it before the warranty expires to be safe. These transmissions must be expensive as hell.
Having gone through the Lemon Law here in California 7 months ago it is 3 tries to fix the problem or if your car has to out of service for 30 days during he warranty period. You have a choice of either getting a new car of equal or greater value or total of all monies that have been paid for the car less milage. My lemon was in 28 times for 41 days. Also when the car is sold, the dealer needs to let the person know by singing a form that says the car was "warranty buy back". The person that bought mine was told that I traded the car in on another Chrysler and they never signed the form, and was never told that is was a lemon. It depends how honest the dealer is.
