My official Stock times in my 6 Speed
Before I installed my headers, ice box, crank pulley and torque damper i wanted to see what I could get out of her stock at Capital Raceway in MD tonight
Best time was 14.3@96
2nd two best times was two 14.4s@96mph
3rd 2 best times were 14.7@96mph
All these times were hit with a 2.0 or 2.1 60ft
with summer weather like this im sure the 14.3 is the max im going to get out of the car stock. The main difference in all those time from what i saw was the temperature in the engine bay. Poping the hood and turning on my front windsheild defroster up to 90 degrees cooled the engine off more because it cuts on the fans in the bay and blows cooler air into the engine bay and sending the hot air into the car while it sat in the lane. I learned that 4 years ago with my old civic, lol...a little track trick i just taught you all...free of charge
Any how cant wait to get my mods on. The torque dampers should elinate future traction problems wit the new soon to come power, if not i will just get a set of CL-P wheels and mount DRs to then and run 13s for sure.

I was at Capitol last night and saw CLS6SpeedNupe run at 14.7. I missed the previous runs since it took me a while to ge there. But the CL-S was running strong, and the times are very good for the car in stock trim, the shifts were on the money too from what I can tell. The only issue is the wheel hop... Which was already noted from the original post.

Oh and for those of you that some times still need more proof. Note the "17" on the car to match the "17" on the slip. I didnt have a dedicated camera man so I dont have the run on video. The only good run i have on video is a 14.6

Thats a great 60' for stock tires and suspension.
my best bone stock time was 14.5 @ 96.5mph with a 2.3 60'
Then 14.2 @ 98mph with dr's on stock wheels
Then 14.0 @ 98 with icebox
then 13.9 @ 98 with springs/struts

so it looks like our cars wont trap past 96mph stock. No matter what my time was the MPH was always 96

No thats about right for a GTO. I used to beat them with my bolt-on 94 GT that ran high 13's. The 04's are only 350hp and weigh like 3800lbs, but the 05/06's have the 6.0L with 400hp and run low 13's stock.

man you have an intake on your car running that 14.0. My stock time is better than yours, case close. No way for a CL to run 14.0 stock unless its running only a drivers seat, lol. Especially not without a super 60ft time.

I'd like to see a bone stock dyno for your 99mph run, that seems a bit high, but maybe you have a runner.
Have it dyno'd and post up the results, if it puts down over 220whp I'll concede you have a very quick stock 6 speed.
You sure its bone stock? I know alot of people who dont realize their car has mods done to it by a previous owner.

Looking at your sig, his car seems to be faster than your car modded and he is stock.

Thats why I said dyno numbers would be nice.
You also have to remember that not every track is as accurate as the next. There is a local track that is consistently 2-3 tenths quicker and 2-3mph higher than any other track in the area.
Altho a 2.1 60' is VERY good for stock susp & tires, I could only muster a 2.30 bone stock.
And his time isnt faster than my real car. j/p

Where did you order it from? I ordered mine from www.704motors.com and they emailed me back saying they didn't carry it anymore.

BRIANOHSOCOOL's rt was a red light, just .013 to quick, he was actually closer to a perfect tree than nupe's, but red light will lose everytime.
It's pretty hard to get this car out of the hole, those 2.xx 60 times were pretty close to as good as it gets. I think there were a couple peeps on here who were 1.9ish.
Good times nupe, as for who's the fastest, i think allmotor2000 was, don't remember his time.
I'm not sure but think I have the mph cornered. I didn't even try to come out of the hole hard on my passes as is evident by the 60' times. As you can see, my rt on the first pass was poor, the second better and the third close to nupes. It was the first time down the track with this car. Everytime was consistant and the mph was also very consistant.
