my new exterior and interior mods...pics

well, the grille is still in development. I have a window manufacturer producing a preforated aluminum sheet which I will cut out and install. this one is kinda misaligned and the holes are too small, but its a start. as for the interior, I added the aluminum dash kit, the aluminum pedals, chrome shifter, chrome emblem on the steering wheel ( check out Bigman on the tl board, he's selling them) and photoshopped a silver steering wheel like the one I'm about to order. next, I'm getting the Mas Strada rims that will come out in late feb. I really got my hands full yhis season.

Rondog, I like what you did with the interior. Personally, I don't think I would have added so much chrome but hey, that's just me..

I really dislike the aluminum interior stuff but if you dig it it's all good. Those wheels might be pretty cool!

Not for me, but it's all fun to do whatever suits yourself. I like the wheels. I like the pedals.

I like the rims and interior. I personally think that there is just alittle too much alumium in the interior. No like the grill, they should come out with a Mugen like grill for the japan Saber/Inspire (TL) but for the CL instead

your not gonna believe it but i got them from autozone for $30. they are simple, aluminum and they have a sharp texture so they don't slip.

Damn, I didn't know they sold pedals. I buy motor oil from Autozone, and don't remember seeing pedals. I'll have to take a closer look next time I go in.

I wonder if that grill will decrease the functionality of the cooling system. Although the current opening isn't very large it might allow enough air flow to extract heat from the radiator/engine. By nearly blocking it I wonder if there will be enough airflow.

Just a thought...

Where did you get the steering wheel emblem? Did you have to have the entire airbag replaced? I like the TL-S steering wheels 'cause they have the emblem.

I know the grille blocks air to the radiator, so i'm gonna get larger holes in the sheet metal. as for the emblem, its just 3m adhesive on plastic chrome. go to the acura-tl.com site and do a search for bigman, or steeringwheel emblem. he's sellingthem over the internet. I'll ask him to put a few on the side for cl drivers.

Are you sure you're going to want that trimmed steering wheel this summer?

I think it looks great, even the grill (although with the larger holes it will look even better). As for the interior, the wheel looks nice (good Photoshop skills), pedals, and the trim... I would remove a little of it, but I am more into accents. 1) Take off the part around the vent righ in front of the passenger. 2) Remove the part around the stereo, but leave the side part (going up and down). 3) Take it off the cup holders. Other than that, it's sweet. Do you have the stock cluster lights? What about the aluminum trim for the doors?
Oh, and please, PLEASE Photoshop those tight wheels onto your car.

there is no way I can take that stuff off now, its stuck for good. I like it anyway, itryed every possible combo of trim and accesories and this is my favorite. by the way, it looks alot better in person than in a blurry pic. I haven't seen any car with this setup so it sets my car apart which is a plus in my book. here are the rims, keep in mind that they will be chrome.

I think the interior looks great.
I wouldn't change a thing about it.
The wheels are beautiful as well.
I'm not so sure about the grill, but I'm looking forward to seeing it with the bigger holes and stuff. For now it looks like a big cooling problem to me.

Again though, as for the interior, that is really the nicest interior job I've seen on the CL.

Man, that’s going to hurt like HELL if the airbag ever goes off.
I sure hope you don’t mind going through life with an Acura logo shape imbedded in your forehead.
