MY new BIG BUCK mod !!!!

Total cost NINETY NINE cents.

What is it ??? "Deer whistlers" on the front of the car.
Pennsylvania is a BEAUTIFUL place, but we have plenty of animals running about at night.
I don’t know if they work or not, but better safe then sorry.

Do they really work? My uncle lives in Upstate NY, & had them on his 2 cars. The deer didn't seem to mind hitting both of the cars one winter season

I have them on mine, just about same location.
They work about 75% of the time, but do work. You do have to position them right otherwise they are useless, and check them so they do not get clogged. This spot on the CL works. Had one jump right into me, changed direction about 6 inches away from the driver door. Also had some stop just before jumping into the street in front of me. Also seen some grazing and never looked up.

On the way to work on Thursday 4:30am, I had 3 cross right in front of me. I was doing about 45 when the first and second came out, stopped the brakes as they crossed. Then as I started to accelerate again, the third came out of nowhere slammed on the brakes and swerved to avoid this one.

Like I said in the original post, I have no idea if they work or not.

When I travel the country back roads at night, you can certainly bet I’m not doing 60MPH. More like 25-30.

You should know by now! We always request 3 things for anyone that does something new to thier ride.

1) Pics - you got this one right

2) Before dyno runs - notice the "s", one is not enough

3) After dyno runs - Notice the "s" again

You have been around long enough!!!

J/J

Some of the hicks around here, South Louisiana, that do a lot of hunting have them. I hope they work.

During the day I’m a HOLY TERROR on these twisty country roads.
One of the reasons I LOVE a manual Tranny.

Over the past 19 years I have (4) deer “kills” to my name including one that did about 4,800-dollars damage to my Legend Coupe.
I lightly “bumped” into one last year with the RED CL, which thankfully only resulted in a cracked headlight.

I tend to take it easy now when the sun goes down.

My excuse......They have modified cars and I didn’t know the roads.
On the straight portions, I was keeping up quite well thank you.
Not to mention I didn’t really feel like rolling my car the week before I had to trade it in.

I know the roads by my house like the back of my hand.
I could probably lose you easily even if you were driving an NSX.

PS....Where’s the full report on your new MODS?
We’ve seen the pictures, now we want the road test report.
