this is my new 2001 cl-type s! (and my firebird formula snuck in) if you look closely you can see that there is condensation on the inside of the windows... is this a seal problem somewhere? anyways let me know what i should do to it first!

Congratz on the new car. That condensation looks out of place to me. I would leave the windows down during a nice day for it to air out. There might just be alot of moisture in the car.

if i had to guess i'd say that the condensation is due to moist air in the car from the last time u were in it, and u parked in the sun which would make the water in the air inside the car condense against the glass.

So if I were to give my opinion I'd say there is no seal issue. I've seen that happen to tones of cars... not that ofter but, it all depends on the weather and where u park which get the car that way.

How do you like the CL-S bro? car looks to be in good condition, she run strong?

well like i said it has been sitting for half a year so its really cold. it took an entire day to get the battery enough juice to get it to start. i started it today to let it run for a while. it took about 2 seconds to get started which is normal to me because i have motorcycles that take a million years to get started after only 2 months of not riding. i havent been able to take it on the street yet because the tabs are expired. my friend has to pay off the last grand and renew the tabs then its mine! should i get the oil changed after sitting so long?

hell yea change the oil bro.. all fluids for that matter.

Whenever I get a new car I like starting with a new slate. So new pads, rotors (for this car due to the crappy oem stuff). brake fluid, tranny fluid 3x3 change, I'd check the color of the rad fluid to see if it's dirty, might change also. And what is the mileage.. you may need to think about the timing belt

yea i wouldn't let anyone touch my tranny when it comes to maintenance. 1st thing i would do if i were you is change the fluid 3x3 method and change the ATF filter located under the intake. Use honda ZF1 or use Royal purple ATF (that's what i'm gonna put in next change)

check the fluid on the dipstick and see if it looks ok and smell it to see if the fluid is burnt. you gotta be ON TOP of the fluid all the time cause once u get behind the internal tranny filter gets clogged and very little fluid goes to the clutch paks then u FRY the gears and tranny is DONE. happened to me 14000kms after i bought my cl-s for 12500.

So please, for your sake, make sure your tranny is in good condition ;-)

damn...ya paint pen isn't gonna help you.

Hope you had insurance because it more than likely is gonna be deeper than the clear coat it's jacked up. :thumbsdow

If not, than a good detailer could get most of it out.

Ya if you have a "detailing" buffer and some quality detailing products then I'd say go that route.

I'd post your pics and create a new thread in the "Wash/Wax" sub-forum on Azine to get some feedback.

The people that frequent those threads really know their stuff.

I've learned so many things...

I think with some good polishing compound and a power buffer you might get pretty good results judging by the pics. It worked wonders on my CL. I still have a few dings here and there but one of those dentless repair guys I've used on my Accord quoted me $200 to make everything perfect. The key is to get the paint as perfect as possible and then deal with any dents after if you aren't happy with the results... Good luck, keep up updated.

(I can stand ppl that mess with someone's ride, be a man and take your issue(s) up with me personally... lol)
