Good pics, I like... do the 15000k die sooner versus the others because they are the highest?

do you mean as in bulb life? idk i usually switch colors every other week or so, so I'm sure none of my bulbs have even been "broken in" yet

in a side note, any luck on those vents? or am I just gonna have to go crossed-eyed w/ the Accord fog mod.?

What bulb do you think gave you the best sight? As best for seeing further.

I kinda like that 12K.

Well none of them really gave me any trouble at night since I live around the city and its usually well-lit. maybe it was a trick of the eyes but I think the 10000K made everything seem "brighter" bouncing off the reflective signs and all.

I think if our cars had projectors on them, the light out put would be even better but I guess thats a mod you have to do on your own

mmm maybe on their newer cars equipped with projectors but w/ our reflectors you need some like brand new ballast/ignitors to get the most of the low-beams IMO

Flyingsol, you might want to check out this thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-cl-2001-2003-50/03-cl-low-beams-709410/
You need D2R or D2S bulbs.

I love seeing a 92 civic hatch, with a set of purple HIDs. If i were a LEO i'd pull his ass over just for being stupid.

i've been through 6 - 12ks.

10k's been the best so far. And no those bright HIDs dont make our car look cheap. at least not in my opinion.

you mean stock temperature at 4300k.... because stock cars do have HID's.... i think our cars without projectors look stupid. hid's should be used on projector-based headlights imo.

I used to get a 60% discount on PIAA's and used them in many vehicles and always had great results. I've never had one fail. Even if I still got the discount, I still don't think I would spend that much for the HID's in the CLS. Or any light bulb for that matter. Except for the bulbs in my Reef Aquarium.

Either way I don't care how long or how good the work, thats just too much dam money!

I LOVE THE COLOR OF ALL OEM H.I.D. IF ITS 4300K THEN THATS WHAT I LIKE...AND I AGREE OUR CARS WOULD LOOK BETTER WITH PROJECTORS...ALL H.I.D. HEADLIGHTS SHOULD BE FITTED WITH PROJECTION LENSES...OUR CARS LACK OF HAVING PROJECTORS DOES NOT MAKE THEM LOOK CHEAP... CARS WITH BARNEY PURPLE AND SUPERMAN BLUE HEADLIGHTS MAKE ALL CARS LOOK CHEAP... FRIGGIN CARS LOOK LIKE FUKIN U.F.O.S

no bashing here...this is something that is sort of a pet peeve of mine right now with car customization...its a great thread and strictly opinion based...some people love different color h.i.d. And some people(me) hate them!!!! To each their own....
