My many changes of HID
hey thanks for referring me to that site...i've decided to go with the 8000k...
...by the way, what would be considered illegal in illinois for hid bulbs?
...have any trouble with the police with any of your bulbs that are over 4300k?
Flyingsol, you might want to check out this thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-cl-2001-2003-50/03-cl-low-beams-709410/
You need D2R or D2S bulbs.
You need D2R or D2S bulbs.
...so what's the difference between D2R and D2S bulbs?
...the owners manual says to use D2R; is there any advantage to D2S?
D2S bulbs are the ones most aftermarket companies use and they are designed for cars w/ prjector assemblies, i.e BMW, Cadillac, Newer Acuras....
The only "disadvantage to using a D2S bulb on our cars is that it may or may not gice off more glare and could "annoy" other drivers coming towards you...I havent had anyone :tonguefaw or flash their lights at me.
I my pretty sure there all the same brightness as far as candle power but I just installed 8000k fog lights to replace my 6000k fogs and I find it harder to see with them because every thing is bluer . My friend has a 94 skyline and he 3000k(yellow) hids they seem the brightest on back roads
