wtf man how can this happen? i only have 14k miles on my car. but this wasnt why i brought the car in. i took it into the dealer because my tranny was slippin and was delayed shifting into 5th. so now the tech will check out the car after the motor mount is replaced to check if the tranny is ok. he said he drove it and felt nothing was wrong so i d/k whats goin on.

weird...i just took my car in for bad gas mileage and they told me mine was broken also. i have 47k, they replaced it, no problem.

 

Mine was also broken when I went in for the 50K service. They replaced it with no problems.

 

how do you know if you have a brotke engine mount?

 

Sounds like you have the dealer check it. Any other symptoms guys? This reminds me I need to do the "window weld motor mount mod" before winter.

Or maybe I could get a "Brotke" mount.

What are the symptoms when your motor mount goes bad? Does your engine shake excessively?
