my friend got a 110 in a 55 on the edens expressway a year ago.....he got a lawyer and got off with just driving school......147 is a bit faster, but illinois seems to be pretty lax when it comes to traffic laws.

I got it in Mr. Prospect too...

They had an ammount choosen for each MPH I was over the limit. I think it came out too $750. I'd have to go look at my files again. This was back in 97-98.

They did not revoke my license, but I think thats because the officer said to the judge I could have ran and he wouldn't have caught me. So I got some brownie points for not fleeing... But this violation helped get my license suspended. (I had a bunch of other violations) 25+ tickets in a very short time.

Does your friend have any other moving violations? Odds are they will suspend his license if he does. I think new policy is in place for high speed too. Either way I would probably get a lawyer. Especially if his jobs requires him to drive to work. Or plan on applying for a work driving permit.

I would say 30 days suspended licence. 2 points on record, $1500-$2500 fine and probably 30-100 hours of community service with a very big warning that if he gets another ticket in 3 yrs he'll face a few days in jail. Let us know how it goes.

This is bullshit, I was busted doing 94mph in my G35coupe I got arrested and my car was towed. Maybe because it was 3:30 in the afternoon. He was doing 147 and they let him go, Fucking pigs.

Holy shit? 147 in the 55? Unfucking believable. I'm in Mississippi, I know for a fact if you pull that shit here you won't get passed the Harrison County Camaro if you run. But if you stop you better have some good anal lubricant for bubba in the cell. Then you lose your license and have to do community service picking up baby diapers and shit on the road.

As an outsider looking in, they still throw diapers out the window. I'm originally from Las Vegas so I think it's just as trashy too. Mississippi blows more than a Vietnamese crack whore, which is hard to do. I would say that because i'm from LV I would know, but, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

whts going to happen is probably losing your license, big fee, maybe some jail time, community service is a definite, and he's going to have to buy a bike from wal-mart cause thats all he's going to be using for transportation lol..

hey tell me what he ends up getting cuz i got a 98 in a 55 w/ alcohol and drugs in the car + paraphenial blah blah blah and my court date was a while ago and my lawyer still hasnt gotten ne word on what im gonna get but it would b nice to know about what will happen. it was around 3 ish and i was cooperative cuz i was doin 145 b4 i noticd the cop and my radar went off ... ne way my friend told me he was doin 90 ish in a 35 and only got year probation and like 50 or w/e hours of community service and no fine ... sum1 tell me what might happen to me please ... o ya the cop didnt write down she found/smelled blunts in my car and a bottle of vodka
