My first two kills
My first two kills
Finally I've found a few people around to race. It seems not to be the biggest thing in the northeast, but anyway both were in no traffic situations, one at 4am with my friend on an empty highway, the other on the NY Thruway around no one else and each race only hit 100mph as to keep it safe. Ok with that said:
1998 Cadillac STS + Corsa exhaust, 305hp, 4300lbs - We went from a 30mph roll and I was using my slushbox tiptronic and we were pulling even upto 55mph when I shifted into 3rd gear and started pulling a little bit. By the time we shut down at 100mph, I was a half car length up.
1997? Honda Prelude w/ exhaust - Was on the NY Thruway today and this kid was zooming all around and pulled up next to me at about 50mph and is dropping down to like 2nd-3rd gear revving it and he did the three beeps, I was in second on tiptronic and punched it and jumped a car length on him and by the time I shut down around 105mph he was atleast 4 cars back. This race was not even close and he was quite embarassed as he stayed atleast 10 car lengths back the next 40 miles.

Read my sig, I've had one since my last car
It works great and I don't really race a lot, I'm also safe when I do. I'm not one of those people who goes out looking for a race all the time

Nice kills!
Here's a quick comparison of stock numbers. Very close numbers all around. I was surprised to see the 0-60 times all being the exact same, especially on the Caddy since it's such a big car.
1998 Cadillac STS 6.8 15.1
------------------------------------
1999 Honda Prelude 6.8 15.4
------------------------------------------
2002 Acura 3.2CL Type S 6.8 15.0

and radar detectors are a must if you want to keep up with your daily spirited driving without those damn tickets.

That Prelude had absolutely no chance, it looked like he would've ran a full second+ behind me in the 1/4 mile. The STS has a lot of torque (300 stock) so it jumps off the line compared to our 232 stock tq. I reeled him in and slowly took him. Anyway, it was a lot of fun and I'll be posting more kills when I'm in a safe place to race!

You also have the advantage of gearing...and they are quite heavy.

I would take 87 all the time when I used to go to Albany University. Almost everyone does 80 on that road- how hard is it not to when its almost completely straight. But I would see cops all the time, especially hiding under bridges
I have the Valentineone and it needs to get installed asap
Good Kills!
