My favorite feature in the CL-S...

...is the center console cupholders that you access by pushing a button and the two doors split open and retract slowly like some kinda space station pressurized room thingy. Definitely worth $30k right there!
Only thing missing is a little "pshhhht" sound when they split apart.

Hey just eat some Mexican food and you can have that sound whenever you want, plus the added aroma!

Vin says 2001, but it's really a 2000 with an upgraded cupholder!!

Yeah, they remind me of the bomb bay doors opening on the "Enola Gay" when we dropped "Little Boy" on Hiroshima...

Seems like the plastic is too soft or something. My doors are scratched big time!

My favorite thing about the CL-S(lately) are the radio controls on the steering wheel. I didn't realize how much I liked them until I was driving a rental car and I kept trying to control the radio but the buttons were not there. I hate having to reach for the radio. I just wish they had more functionality. For example, how cool would it be to be able to switch from CD to FM? The volume buttons could be half the size and that's two more buttons right there. Plus there could be more buttons on the back of the existing control. Although it might get crowded or confusing as to what button does what, after a while you get used to it or (if you don't have the coordination) you just reach for the radio.

Isn't this car primarily for people over 50? And aren't most people over 50 afraid of lots of buttons? (My parents are...I still do the VCR programming around here). hehehe

what i don't understand is why they make the volume button so big and not elegant.

In addition, we have the channel advance buttion, how difficult was it for Acura to include the channel reverse function, or at least make it to cycle. The first week I got my car, I kept pushing the other end of the channel lever, hoping that mine was just accidently stuck. but I learned to give up finally.
