When I say easily beat g35 autos, thats sarcasm buddy. Obviously if i lost to a g35 coupe by 3 cars theres no way i'm gonna rock a g35 auto by a lot. We'll race next week, i think it'll be cool.

IMO:
I had an 01 CLS with I/H/E, and brake upgrade--loved the car. Now I drive an 05 G35 Sedan 6MT with AEM intake and enjoy driving it better due to the manual transmission and rear wheel drive. Both cars are excellent cars. I would quit worrying so much which car is faster because it's really too close to even matter given equal drivers.
Enjoy your CLS while you have it because it's a unique car, there's not that many on the road if you've looked around lately. When I'm driving the G35 I notice at least 5 of them getting out of my subdivision. Also, the VTEC is bad ass, I miss the sound and the instant hp increase at 4,800 rpm.

Too bad.The weather was great .It was cold /my car likes it .I remember the time when me and john(power3dfx)race for fun(its always like this .NICE/COLD)Though,i always lose.

Everthing's fine John.I believed it was u i saw last sunday making a left towards zelzah in encino.(But,not very sure.i was about to give u a call but i forgot ur number).I was looking to have another friendly race with u.Instead we went to lexus dealership to trade the benz(always breaking)for the new lexus is350.We,have to wait for the combo we chose@ least a month and half.With regards to the z...for sure im gonna be smoke again but not much.

I want to keep it normally aspirated as much as possible.

They gave me a white TL as a loaner! To tell you guys the truth, I like my CL better. Acura needs to step up and fix these problems and bring out a real sports car instead of a 100k nsx.

We should all tell Acura
What is sad is this is happening to all of us who love our CL's. I still would rather own my '03 CL-S than some of these newer cars but let's face it, we will continue to get beat while Acura has no new stuff for us. Since our car went out of production, Infiniti has the 298 hp G35, Lexus now has the 300 hp IS 350 and we have to watch them from their tail lights. The Lexus and infiniti represent a new generation of powerful touring cars. The CL-S owned the category through 2003 from a performance standpoint. Seen any of that from Acura lately?
