i went to autozone today for check engine light
they said all 6 cylinder got misfiring
wut should i do now? -_-;;

 

what is the code? is your car running rough at idle? could be faulty ignition coils

 

+1 for ignition coils...

You could "borrow" a known good coil from someone and replace your's one at a time till you find the bad one...

Doing a search for the trouble code (P1399 or P0300 or whatever it is) will pull up a bunch of threads of people with similiar issues, and what they did to resolve it.

If you're not technically inclined, it's off to the dealer or local H/A expert...

Yeah what code is it exactly? I can look it up in the manual. It could be a number of things.

 

If you don't care to mess around with it, take it to the dealership. Are you still under warranty?

 

Could be a coil, check the knock sensor too?

could be egr clogging? my cls had 57k miles on it i don't think i still have warrenty on this car
i reseted computer but englne light come on 2weeks after i reseted it.

 

Ok the manual says either the ignition coils, or the fuel pressure system.
It would be a little odd for a coil or more then 1 coil to fail at only 57K miles. Check around the coils & make sure all the connections are good.
How does it drive? Is it a probelm when you are at WOT, regular day to day driving?, idleing?

 

no everything fine driving just normal gonna check in dealer next wed $105 for just checking expensive...

 

U Need 3 Things For Engine 2 Run: Fuel, Spark And Compression. If U Get Misfire On One Particular Cylinder It May Be: Ignition Coil, Spark Plug Itself, Leaking Compression Thru Spark Plug, Bad Coil Wireing. Injector Going Bad , Poor Quality Fuel ( Will Cause Random Missfire ). Ramdom Missfre Can Be Caused By Almost Everything - Too Much To List.

Simple Things 1st Check Your Plugs.

 

If your going to do that you may want to buy a sevice manual & a code scanner & do it yourself. It would only cost a little more money, & you have the tools needed for the next time the car acts up. The service manaul tells you what to do. The same thing any dealer will follow.

 

just change sparkplug to denso ik20 all 6 of them..
still got engine light came back this is nightmare -_-

You should invest in a service manual. You can then pinpount the problem & not throw $$ away on parts.

i clean egr and thottle body last week still doesn't fix my engine so
i take it to dealer 3 days ago. they said bad fuel injector causing this problem
so they change all 6 of them.. somehow they didn't charge me nothing anything for it
i thought my car warrenty is expired long time ago. 03 cl type-s 6speed manual 58k on it.
hmm weird but now it's fix very happy with it...

 

ugh, I hate Autozone.

You're better off putting some made up remedies in a hat and picking one.

Acurazine has helped me so many times in situations like this.
