my CL VS G35 (6-speed) with I/E

we ran 3 times...

first time, i was behind him at a light he took and i took off behind him and passed him in the other lane.. ( we shut it down about 60mph)

2nd run, we were pacing each other at about 70 mph. he hit it when i wasn't ready(my falt for not being ready) he jumped like 3 cars ahead of me and by 110mph i was side by side with him and about 117mph i was about 1 car ahead of him..

3rd and final time (the best race of the three) role from 35mph, we both hit it at the same time and about 90mph i had 3 cars on him and still pulling

he pulled up to me with a very shocked look on his face and gave me a thumbsup i did the same and we went on our seperate ways...

yes i sprayed.... also i have seen a auto G35 run a 14.2@98 BONE STOCK

yest this is true! I did a lot of resarch on this on the 350Z boards, and it is no longer a mystery to them. Turns out that most Z drivers were expecting to "smoke" G drivers due to their weight difference, but the result, from early "street encounters" was that the Z seemed to only be able to pull even. many wondered why, and it turns out that the weight difference actually favors the G, giving it a cleaner/stronger launch. also the G came with michelin pilot sports a/s, which had superior traction to the Z's bridgestones.

Judging by the amount of mods the z already has out(tons of exhausts, headers, intakes, ecu, turbo/supercharger(comming in fall), etc), and that the G/Z are practically the same thing, both cars are really going to be a force to be reckoned with in the near future!

most G35 auto's do not run 14.2's stock....

every car has it's "special" one.. the one that runs a crazy awesome number stock... i thought i read about a 14.4 or 14.5 stock for a CL-S on a really cold night...

But... you see its RWD, so if a CL-S uses slicks or DR's, it might be comparable.
