My car is running GREAT !!!
With all this talk of bad trannys, warping rotors & failing actuators, I just thought I would post that everything is running just FINE on my 18,000-mile old Red Rocket.
A positive thread in the sea of complaints.
That is all......

I thought i was the only one here......
I just had my 7500mile service done to my CL--S and it is running the way it did when i took it off the lot with 0 miles on it.
I can really feel the difference.
I love my CL-S.

Happy CL-S Pilot
After the lower engine block being replaced at 3,000 miles, ignoring the persistent seats and console rattles, everything else is just fine.... time for oil change, 5,000 miles and i need to do 30k miles services...
Looking forward for the RES mod

hey, do you guys go to all those 1500miles, 3000 miles, etc services??? I was reading the service manual and theres sooo many of them, like I need a service every 1500 or 3000 miles. I never took my camry or bmw in for service ever, drove both up to 30k miles with no problem, then sold it. I don't believe in keeping a car more than 30k miles. So does the CL require u to go to all those services?

I just never keep a car over 30k miles, thats how my parnets taught me. Ever since my first car, they are like, never keep a car more than 30k miles, well that or till the warranty ends. Every car we had we sold it within 3 years or 30k miles. I guess thats how us asian do things, like buying houses with cash, cars with cash, never take loans, etc...

opps didnt finish typing and pressed submit by mistake. I got my license in 97, got a 97 bmw, sold it in 98 with 19k miles and got a trd camry, just gave the camry away with 22k miles and got the CL. My dad sold his 328 with about 20k miles, sold his lexus gs300 with about 14k miles and now he has about 11k miles on his lexus rx300 and looking at a new car. Sister had a maxima, she actually kept hers till 36k miles, sold it and just got a CL also.

Well I have never heard anything like that. It must cost you a good amount of dough over time, though.
