It's probably not the car's fault. Those NY and NJ roads are bad ass terrible. Once, after putting on new heavy duty Monroe shocks on my Chevy Blazer, I decided to take a trip to NE. As I drove over the GW Bridge, I hit a pot hole and broke the shock. How come they never fix the roads there?

Wow, I can't believe some people have gone through 3 or 4 trannies. My wife drove our Chevy Blazer and probably never reved above 3000rpm that needed a rebuild at 30000 miles and blew again at 45000 miles. Unlike Acura there was no extension on the warranty. Luckily we had an extended warranty otherwise would have been stuck with a $2500-$3000 bill. Needless to say I dumped it after the warranty expired. I will never buy a Chevy again. I was quite impressed that Acura extended the warranty so I don't have to worry about a big bill any time soon. Do you use tiptronic or auto shift? I usually drive in D4 in the city as well. Is there a common pattern of driving that causes malfunction?

You are certainly more patient than me. I went through two and dumped the b!tch for a CLS6..
BTW: The problem with the NJ lemon law (for you) is that you have 67k miles. The law says that you would owe:
(miles/100,000 * new car value)
so you would only be reimbersed for 33% of the new car value. I don't pretend to know your financial situation, or how you paid for your car, but if you financed more than 50-60% of it, you are still upside down. The 18k rule is (I believe) for non-drivetrain components. I could be wrong though (won't be the first time).
Sux the way it works...

You’re costing Acura THOUSANDS of dollars of unwarranted repairs to your car, which will be reflected in higher costs to everyone else in the future.
I know you have a “hook up” at the dealership for repairs, but I for one think the entire warranty on your powertrain should be VOIDED !!!
