i was coming home from work the other day.. and was about 10 minutes from my house.. i happened to pull next to a teal 300M at a red light.. at first, i didnt really expect a race.. but the old asian guy kept looking over, so i gave him a nod..

at the green, we both took off.. my tires chirped a bit, and so did his..

i punched the CL full throttle and the whole time, we where dead even.. lol.. i didnt pull from him.. he didnt pull on me.. and at the next light.. he rolled his window down and gave me the

i was kinda expecting more from the 300M.. it looks really powerful.. but then i realized its probably really heavy compared to my 3.0..

it was fun though.. and he was a cool old asian guy!

 

I had a 2000 300M with the Performance package. It's not a fast car off the line. That's because the gearing is not right. But get the car up to 50 & mash the gas & you are gone! Has a very big top end. You need to get the the performance package though cause that has no speed limiter. The regular ones cut out at 118.
