My 2001 CL-S is finally off the road... I think..
So I sold my 2001 CL-S about 6 months ago after changing the tranny and then having the rear main seal leaking.I sold it for $3000 and my tranny replacement cost $3200 5-6 months before I sold it. I took alot of pride in that car and did alot of mods AEM CAI, OBX headers , IM and TB spacers Cat-back B@G shocks and springs , NSX calipers (SO I put alot of time and money into that car). So the guy that bought it replaced a few things (and Always made sure to call me and tell me how much he spent) The car misfired once a week so the dealer made him change all the Coil packs, Plugs (which i replaced 20K miles before I sold it) and finally injectors (that solved the problem) He also rep[laced the CAT.. So he calls me a few days ago asking me where he can get a bumper.. He said he had a minor accedent.. then when I started asking questions I found out he rear ended someone going 40-45 MPH and buper , hood, quaterpanels and airbag at the least.. He only had liabilty so it seems like the car is totaled to me.. Even if he found a front end in a junk yard and a air bag it still we be a few grand......

That car always seemed to have bad luck after 4 trannies...

I bought the car new in March of 2001
It was my first car I ever had , I bought it new in March of 2000. My parents let me use there 1989 Caddy seville when I got my license but the CL-S was actully my first car..
StreetKA I am not happy it is gone, I would be curious on haw many more mile the engine would have put on it.. I am relived for the reason that everytime this kid had to buy something for the car he would call me and put a guilt trip on me, so not happy relived...
I had 165K miles on it when I sold it in November... And then I leased a 2010 TSX..
And Civic I never helped him fix the car, I went with him to the tranny shop to talk to the owner but never "helped" him fix it..
I actully have a old bumper in my garage but the tabs are ripped So I dunno if it will hold with most the taps being ripped..
