I don't know why this was so hard to believe. An auto CLS with intake/headers should be running around those times on a good day. Also, some cars of the same make/model are faster than others...take nitrotiger's car for instance. I think before people call BS they should first ask for proof, rather than the reverse.

you are comparing 2 totally different cars...the e36 is lighter and stick too, and the cl-s is auto and heavier too....

What's impressive to me is that it was run at a shithole track like Milan, where traction is usually bad for anything making over 200hp and not on slicks or drag radials.

Good numbers Darrin.

:noob: That's one of the best times I've seen an Auto CLS run with only thos mods. Let's see the auto M3 with intake and headers run a 14.2... doubtful...

Good run.... but I have to laugh at your statement. Your downfall just may be saying you're the "fastest..etc..etc.." Arrogent prick.

Lapeer is an even bigger shithole, and doesn't warrant the 45 minute drive. I've never been to Stanton, but I hear it's pretty nice, but some people have said it's just as busy as Milan on T&T nights. There is also Ubly which a couple have said is nice and alot less busy on T&T nights.

Better said, you have the quickest, on this forum, time to date with just I/H.

Your statement would assume that only people on this forum go to the track and would indicate top speed.

In my opinion, what deserves apraisal here is that a low 14s ET is possible with the stock tires. I call that an amazing run actually. And forget about the mods. It's the tires that surprised me. People forget how important tires are for 1/4 mile runs.
