Just got my HKS'. How much for an install? Or, how long should it take and any special tools to do it myself.

Its just 4 bolts, shouldn't be any reason you can't do it yourself. Should take no more than 30min-1hr including clean up

Yah do it yourself. Only 4 bolts and 4 hangers. Take you about 30 mins or less.

 

I did mine in my driveway w/o a jack. Hardest part is getting the factory bolts off... after that it's a piece of cake.

 

Is there anything special to do in order to make sure the mufflers/tips are straight?

 

u just play with the hangers. It's almost impossible to get it perfect.

 

Yeah, I noticed that. I put them on last night. Took about 40min. Kind of hard to get under the car - (only a CT drop). But the one on the driver's side is not where I want it. Oh well. They sound nice. I have only spent abotu 15 minutes in the car, but so far I like it. Not too loud at all.
