Monterrey Blue on CL-P

I'm afraid I'm going to get the Heisman on my lease I'm trying to get so I have been thinking about the CL-P or a TL. Has anyone even seen the Monterrey Blue and if so, how close is it to Aegean blue? It looks lighter than the normal dark blue on the CL but I can't really tell.

If I am stuck with the CL-P then I'm going to make myself feel better with a set of AT Italia S5's =) Lord, I hope I get the Type S. =)

well charliemike,

I have the monterey blue. Its an elegant dark blue..matches well with 31% metallic (reflective) tint. In November '00, they didnt have the Aegean Blue on the lot at that time so I opted for the CLP instead because I loved the blue.

But if I were to do it all over again, I'd definitely get the Aegean Type S.

Here's a comparison (just bare with the TLS)

Aegean Blue TLS

Monterey Blue CLP

Monterey Blue at nite is like black until you are a few feet away from the car, then you notice its blue (i like it like that).
Aegean on the other hand is brighter and more noticeable during the day. Not sure how it looks during nite.

Definitely spend the extra $$$ for the Type S and nav too. You will regret it later if you don't.

That TL-S looks hot. Very agressive looking sedan.

The Aegean blue looks purplish when in the dark.

I dunno about that, compare the night/day pics in: http://wizardsworks.org/chod/acura/pics/

The car looks very purple on overcast days, though.
