Money to Blow... What to Get?

Choices are narrowed down to:

Tokico Illumina Shocks (springs coming soon)

or

Valentine 1

or

PDA for school (Palm T3, Sony Clie TH-55 or NX80)

or

save the cash?

Hmmm...the 3rd choice gave your background away. If that's the case, don't succumb to peer pressure and do the smart thing.

BUT...If you asked us to make a priority list...mine would be that exact list in reverse order.

A decent hooker, the PDA or a few shares of an Index Fund.

1. Try the springs first -- without the shocks. Otherwise you will never know what did what.

2. If you like running fast, and aren't seeing too many lasers, V1 is nice.

3. PDAs are sweet

4. Money can always get 1-3 at a future date (see below)

#2 and #3 will just get cheaper with more features over time, so if you need to ask this question, perhaps you might want to consider #4 (SAVE THE $$$). #1 might be cheaper later if someone moves to coilovers (you could buy some barely used ones for a steep discount).

Thanks guys. Yea, Eric made a good point. I think I'll save the cash and add 1/2 of it to my investment.

The other 1/2 can go towards paying for the ridicilous gas prices.

personally I'd go with a V1 for the simple reason if you drive fast you can slow down enough through the area "they are clocking" (if it's on interstate or something like that). it will pay for itself if you avoid 1 ticket

I have to say go with the V1. The CL is such a smooth ride that it's sometimes hard to tell that your going over the speed limit. My BEL 980 radar detector has saved me COUNTLESS times.
