Momentary power lag

Hey all...

I got my CLS 6spd a few weeks ago and occasionally I notice a momentary lag in power. I'll be cruisin along with the tach between 1500-2000 and it'll feel like the power just came off and then came back on. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, what is it? Thanks.

Never noticed that in the 3200 miles I've had it.

Yes, my auto tranny hesitates every morning about 2 miles from my house. It does it once a day and then is fine, Anyone else?

My auto does this also, but it is becoming more and more frequent now, especially at lower cruising speeds

Am I the only only who saw that he has a 6 speed and knows manual transmissions don't have torque converters?

It's the A/C compressor, guys. And of course it's going to be more frequent in the summertime. LOL

I'm not so sure it's the AC though. I usually forget to turn it on It's usually 60 or so when I go to work and warm enough when I come home to drive with the windows down. So... <shrug> ... I'll try it tomorrow, making sure the AC is off, and then try it again on the way home with it on. I'll check in then.
