Mods question
okay here's the deal when i go to get my car I'll have 5-6 grand I set aside for mods.
there's a couple of rules
#1 i don't want super expensive stereo cause i don't want it ripped off
#2 i don't wanna lower the car cause i'll probably drive it in the winter
okay so here's my list so far
Headers 1100 bucks
Stereo 900 bucks (replace headunit and stock speakers with installation)
Rims 1600 bucks (TSW chrome 17s Revos)(you can check em out at the website)
Tires 900 bucks(i included mounting and balancing and all the crap) (Toyos of course)
Pipe 700 bucks( i'm not real sure on the price for Comptech pipe)(i'm gonna go comptech cause i can keep the warrenty)
probably whats left over goes toward installing headers and pipe.
tell me your thoughts and suggestion
thanks guys

weight another issue wild.
you add 2 amps and a sub that gets heavy
and when your trying to tear up mustangs GTs you need all the help you can get .if i just replace stock speakers i'll be pretty close to stock weight.
plus With multiple amps isn't it hard on your altenator at night cause it's pulls a lot to power plus 2 amps. I've seen guys with big systems at night go down the road and there lights just fades out when the sub hits. it's dangerous if ya ask me.(the kid that did that had either a 12 or 15 kicker solo baric) it's loud i'm give him that.

i agree man. i hate it when he turns it up at night and i ride with him cause you'll see the road when it's not bumping and all the sudden you don't see crap and i'm like dude you need to turn it down or put it on another song so we still got lights. he's like oh i'm cool man i'm cool. plus i'm sure it has to violate some law driving at night with no lights.

I havent had any problem with my car being lowered (comptech springs) in chicago winter! Go with springs! Ramps havent been a problem either...Some of the very steep ones I take very slow....and no scrapes at all!

Unless you really REALLY don't want to lower your car, I would say go with the springs. Or, Ground Control coil overs? That way, you can keep stock height, or lower it and have some fun.
As for weight, I'm not sure what amps and sub you want, but a sub weighs <10 lbs, or ~20 with a box?, and an amp shouldn't weigh more than 20 lbs. That's not much weight, and you would be very happy with it.
