Greetings Steve,
After waiting for 3 weeks to get the Icebox it is now it. I ordered the K&N filter as I too prefer the K&N over foam.
I am on vacation this week, so I sent my throttle body to King Motor Sports today. They said they would have it back to me by Friday.
As you say, it can't hurt and the price is reasonable.
Hope all is well with the family.
Take care...

Hey Dennis,
Good deal and of course let us know what your observations are. Although it isn't enough to really feel power gains there may be a noticeable change in throttle response.

Scalbert,
Could you post instructions on how to remove the throttle body.
Is it easy to remove the throttle cables? I may send my throttle body to King Motorsports but I don't want to take the cables off and not be able to get them back on correctly.
Thanks

To remove it is fairly easy. By turning the throttle by hand and pulling the slack up on the cable, you can turn and remove the cable end.
From there just remove the electrical connectors, three in all and the two coolant lines.
There are two bolts and two nuts to remove. Once loosened it may not be free. Mine, when removed for the SC installation, would not budge, took a little forced to break the seal.
