missing one eye

Just blew a bulb yesterday and was wondering if the best way (meaning cost and time) to go about replacing it. Go back to the dealer or buy it from somewhere else and have them or myself replace it? Do you guys know how much it cost at the dealer with the labor? Thanks!

It should be covered under you warranty. Mine were all covered under BMW warranty so I'm thinking Acura is the same way.

I've seen quite a few cl/tl with either a blown bulb front or rear, I am sure the dealer will replace since all your cars are new.....

depends on which bulbs we're talking about. hid's on the 2nd gen tl/cls shouldn't go out at all (okay, maybe after several years). the incandescent bulbs should also last a while, but filaments have been known to break (as well as the housings on improperly installed halogens).

the hids are definitely covered under warranty. I've had my road lamps replaced under warranty as well, but I'm not sure every dealer does that so ymmv.

so it sounds like. . .

So it sounds like my dealership should be covering the blown bulb. I'll give them a call and let you guys know. Just needed a little assurance in case they don't claim to be responsible for it.:P Cause they'll be getting a piece of my mind on why I would be pissed off at buying a buld that had blown out after a little over a year which cost I heard anywhere between $100 - $200.
