Me vs. CLK320 and more....

Earlier today, I decided to do a little familiar canyon running since I haven't done it in a long time. A white CLK decided to try to cut me off and lose me, then I passed him in 3rd. That's when our little journey began. Interesting 15 mile run through the canyon together, funny to see 2 crotchrockets and a z06 join in our fun. I never left 3rd or 4th. I guess he thought he could lose to a CL-S. Some awesome turns and high speed straights. I have to admit though, some turns at 110mph are a little hairy. Wasn't a win v. lose race, but definitely who had the balls to push it through some turns.

The bikes left us in the dust on the straight, the z06 backed down on the 110mph curve, and the CLK eventually took a left and went another direction.

Sounds like a nice run. Runs like that make you really appreciate the BBK.

Santiago Canyon road, in Orange. Near Blackstar and Irvine Lake.

I took a run on Topanga and Mulholland with my VW (and 50-70 others) a few years back. We had an A4 crash into a guard rail during one of our runs. Some of those turns made me but nonetheless, that drive was really fun.
