Drove in one yesterday, BADASS little car. Good friend of mine won it in his divorce and comes by tires SCREEECHING. GODDAMN thing is a TON of fun to run around in. I would DEFINITELY take one over my CLS.

NICE CAR!

When my uncle was buying the 750iL he test drove the m3 6spd for the hell of it. We were in Silver Spring and we got on the beltway, and that thing HAULS ASS! I wanted to drive it so bad, but I would had probally bought one and been in debt.

P.S. Mag times have them at 4.679 0-60 est (MotorTrend)

I had a 00 Mcoupe....lots of Dinan mods, that car was amazing- nothing new there. Got just as many looks as the Viper, people don't know what the hell it is.

Don't think I could have driven it everyday- small, 2 seats, seats aren't the most comfortable after an extended period of time, it does have TC and plenty of space in the rear. Goes well in the rain, snow you can forget about (thats an issue in NY), Roadstar rims can get smacked up "much" easier than the CL's- not cheap to replace, can't really be fixed. So, while many people use them as daily drivers...mine made for a great toy.

I'm looking to find a 2001 with decent milage. I can't spend more than like 36 or 38k.

Did the 2000 have 315 or 240 horses?

Which Car?

IF you are talking about the m3, I think 2001 or 2002 has 333hp? Don't Quote me.... The older ones where still in the mid 200s.

I would definitly get a M coupe and get rid of the CL. That thing is insanly fast and its so cool looking, not to mention that you never see them. On a side note, someone was asking about HP in the m3, the 2002 has 333, the previous gen. has 240. The 2002 and 2001 M Coupe has 315 HP, as does the M Roadster.

Why are you asking? You already made up your mind

I would go with the M Coupe if I were you.

That color looks nice on the M Coupe, but I have to say I am partial to the M Roadster ...

I looked at a 2-3 year old M Roadster before I decided to lock in on a CLS 6-speed ... came down to practicality and new vs. used, but the M cars (M3, M roadster, M coupe) are all very nice.

Love that car! 2 gipes though, It is kinda small and the steering wheel is too big. Fun, fun, fun!!! I also dig the looks.

The next one is due to be Lotus Elise like, rumored to be 2.2L 240hp I-4. But at only 2000lbs, that thing will fly!

Most people think it looks like a fcked up toe.
And I never really did like the way the M3 drove.

All i know is Open Road BMW had one in black used and was sellin for 30k. It was a 99' i believe with 15k er so. I don't remember exactly. If i was you i would def. trade the Cl for the coupe at any price around that.
