Mant. Req'd Blinked

the maintenance required light blinked a couple times when i started my car today then it just went away i know it comes on when you start the car but i have never seen it blink before

read the manual. Means you have a service coming up.

It will begin by just blinking a little bit, then as the service interval gets closer, the duration of the blinking will get longer. Once you hit the service mileage, the light stays on.

And if u HAVE had ur service done and it still blinks or stays on.. they (the dealership) forgot to reset it. U can reset it urself, its pretty simple and in the owners manual i believe

Mine just stared blinking at startup too. Just for 10 seconds or so. I have 6200 miles. I saw in the manual somewhere you can reset by holding down the odometer buttons.
