Man speeds to 140 mph in chase
Don't try this at home folks.
Man speeds to 140 mph in chase
A 20-year-old man was arrested after trying to evade police on Interstate 80/94 early Thursday, traveling at 140 mph, authorities said.
Dino Lorenzo Gagliano, of Dyer, is charged with resisting law enforcement, reckless driving, speeding, unsafe lane change, driving with a suspended license and failure to signal a lane change.
State Trooper William Carlson noticed Gagliano, who was traveling eastbound in a 2002 Acura, about 2:30 a.m. near the Burr Street exit in Gary. The 20-year-old had been driving 116 mph in a 55-mph zone, prompting Carlson to activate his emergency lights and pursue Gagliano.
Carlson said Gagliano ignored him and increased the speed of the Acura to 140 mph, weaving through traffic and using the outside shoulder to pass other cars.
Several miles into the pursuit, Gagliano stopped and was taken into custody by Carlson.
Gagliano, who remains in Lake County Jail, said he was worried about his license being suspended and believed "(Indiana) State Police cars had V6 engines." He didn't think Carlson would be able to catch up to him, leaving him surprised when the trooper matched his pace.

I never noticed that thread...cool.
I did it quite a few times when I was stupid, would never attempt now.
But I had 1k left in 5th and just into VTEC in 6th and it was speed limited.
It pulled all the way up so it could go more ever since I put the AEM on there.
Although I'll never attempt it....
