Everytime I start my car the main. req. light blinks 12 times then shuts off. Would anyone know what the problem is? The car is an 01 with 74,000 miles.

 

it is just a light to remind you of scheduled intervals between oil changes

I know that alot of you guys buying used CL's don't get the owners manual, so I scanned the maintenance light page from my manual.

Chod's Faq is required required reading, and I actually read most of his FAQ before I even bought my CLS.

If you don't have the OEM manual, you can get them from the OEM supplier http://www.helminc.com (or from ebay).
