Turbo CL-S vs. G35C TT/NOS

Well... ran it to the impossible today. G35C Twin-Turbo with NOS!! I chatted with the guy a bit and he mentioned he made 377whp (I would assume 8psi on that motor) + whatever the N20 makes. He 'purged' the NOS for me... came out near his windshield wiper area. Nice car... wheels, etc.

The race was sorta from the dig, so I just SPUN, SPUN and SPUN until into 3rd gear. We were dead even going into 3rd when we both shut it down due to a non-idea location for the run. I am pretty confident I'd take him into 3rd and 4th.

Pretty much my entire race was just spinning tires.

Real nice guy.... I'd probably run into him again around here soon.

It's a nice 80F here today!!

Disclaimer:

Some dude in a Chevy Malibu started taking pictures, so for all law enforcement types.... this is just a dream I had last night!

It's california man... these things are everywhere and everybody wants to run!! The SFV (San Fernando Valley) has been a racers paradise for a looong time - from musclecars to imports. It's died down a lot over the last few years as few people actually go to organized events, but the cars are still around!

Nice run Even with all that spinning, you held your own from a dig.

You're going to need your own forum or we can rename this section to Ram's Racing and Performance.

props on the win ... those motors can show some true potential, ever get your knocking/detonation issues solved on higher boost levels or no luck?

Traction is gonna be killer since you see full boost ate a pretty low RPM. A 12.15 or a 12.20 is more than possible though. Probably 117 MPH too maybe?

Most, if not all of the dyno's I've seen put the tq almost equal to the hp. So if they put out around 400whp, they also have around 400tq. On top of that it's pretty much kicked in fully at 3Krpm.

I had to invert my front yokos last week as the insides were completely worn. I don't think these tires last > 6K miles

hahaha Ram, this is seriously a small world. I was sitting with my car crew last night drinking and we were talking, and my friend mentioned that he ran a 419 hp CL. Knowing your numbers, I quickly asked him what color was ur car etc. We quickly determined it was your car haha. We both talked about how ur a nice guy and he was happy to run into someone who wasn't a ricer.

Anyways, to make a long story short, we would both like you to come down to chill with us the next time our car crew meets up to chill. We go down to the pasadena area and chill every once in a while. He'd like to run you for fun again. By the way, he was boosting around 5psi *his daily settings*. Plus I wanna check out your turbo setup =)

allmotor_2000, Don't you have about 425 WHP??? If so, I can't imagine how bad your wheel spin would be. With 305 WHP on my S/C'd 6MT CLS and sticky tires (Michelin PS2s) I get a huge amount of wheel spin in 1st and 2nd and a little in 3rd.
