Maintenance light flash
means your tranny is on the way out. Just kidding. It's for oil changes. You need to reset it. You can search but i think it goes like this: hold the two buttons beside the gauges down and insert the key and put it to the last position before the car turns on. Hold it for like 10 seconds and it'll beep, and it's now reset.
the maintenance light goes through sequences of blinking more and more and more hen u start the car and eventually stays on to let u know u've reached 7500miles i believe.
meanwhile i change my oil every 5000kms which is less than 3400miles

Per the owners manual:
For the first 6000 miles after the Maintenance Required Indicator is reset, it will come on for two seconds when you turn the ignition switch ON (II).
Between 6000 miles and 7500 miles this indicator will light for two seconds when you first turn the ignition switch ON (II), and then flash for ten seconds.
If you exceed 7500 miles without having the scheduled maintenance performed, this indicator will remain on as a constant reminder.

Then again, its in the owners manual. If they didnt look there Im sure they wouldnt look at the stickies or FAQ section either.

its not just somebody its everybody and its not just the mod section .... j/k seriously civic ... u should change that ... as nice as it is ... im at work ... and if the wrong person sees it could be a problem
u mean the maintenance light code right?? a check engine light is the other one?
if it went at 150k maybe someone reset it prior and it fell on that number.
but a CEL at 150k sounds unlikely to be the way acura designed the car. IMHO

^keep both buttons pressed in until the light goes off after you turn the key. otherwise it will stay on. And he doesnt mean ON as in start the car. Just in the first position where the radio and such turns on.

It just seems like since it's the easiest part of a service, they probably wouldn't forget to do it.
