timing belt tensioner is obvious when you take the timing covers off. If I remember correctly, it has two bolts holding it.

but im not doing a timing belt im changing the idler pulley

i know where it is..it hought i had to loosen the tensioner belt, i had a maxima before so i had to loosen the belt tensioner before getting to the idler pulley
