i hope this doesn't seem real dumb, but could someone tell me how to reset the maintenance light.

 

its only a dumb question after one knows its in the freakin OWNERS MANUAL...

 

Also dumb, if someone doesn't try a SEARCH first when looking for answers..

 

chill guys ... he'll learn ... since he's new, just hook him up and tell him where he can go .... hold down select and reset buttons and then turn the engine on.. let go after the light turns off..

easy.

I did a search on maintenance light and got a lot of hits..

 

I got your back 01CL-S, turn the ignition to the #3 position (accessories on). then hold the "select" and "reset" buttons simultaneously for at least 10 seconds until you see the maintenance light go off, then you're reset. Turn the key back and start the car, youll see the light go off after a a couple of blinks now. Hope this helps.

I just ran a search and it skips most of 2002 and gives ancient results from 2001.
