"Maint Req'd" light after Icebox Install?

I just installed my CT Icebox this weekend. Ever since I did this my "Maintenance Req'd" light flashes a couple of times at startup. Is this just because I disconnected the battery? Or is it possible I muffed something up during install? TIA

It's coincidental... I bet you have somewhere around 15K, 22.5K, 30K, 37.5K, 45k, 52.5K or 60K miles

The maintenace light will come on to remind you that you should have service done.

^^ What are you laughing at 03 CL TypeS

There are somethings on the CL that I didn't discover even tho' I spend too much time on the forums. Heck, I didn't know that the center console armrest extended for about 4 months after I bought my CL

Haha... I found that feature after a few minutes of sitting in mine. I keep it extended all the time / can't live without it !!!

Yep, that's it then... it's just telling you that you have the 52.5K maint. to do.. (oil change and tire rotation IIRC). Check your manual, acura's owners link website or the pdf below for details...

I've had people think they broke my center console when they push on it.

The mat. light is not designed to tell you about any problems with the car, it will just let you know that it is time for service.

No big deal...

After answering that question about a dozen times (it's been asked 100's of times here), I figured it was just easier to scan the page out of the owners manual...

It's also posted in the FAQ forum somewhere...

Noobs tend to learn quickly that they can find alot of the answers to their questions by:

1) Searching the forums...

2) Browsing the FAQ

3) Reading the Owners Manual

I bought the Helms service manual for the CLS too... It's just a matter or knowing where to look to get the answers for most questions.
