lowering tire pressure on 225/40 R18's

It asks for 38 i believe. Would i be okay going down to 25 at the street races for a few runs?

You may get a little more traction, but it's not going to be a night and day difference.

More importantly, you've a good chance of ruining the tire through damage to the side wall since it will have more weight forcing down on it.

ya thats what i figures since the profile is so low. Lowering the pressure would be more significant on a tire w/ a bigger sidewall
