CL-S vs TL-S stereo?

I just read on Acura's site the TLS has a 4 speaker w/ subwoofer setup. Does this mean it doesn't have seperate tweeters?

And I take it the CLS' 6 speakers don't include a subwoofer?

It has the same setup as the 99-01 TL.

I owned a 00 TL... and the stereo sucked ass.

Didnt suck too much more then the CLS stereo... but it was definately shittier.

Test drove the new TLS and the radio sounded pretty good with the free-air sub in the back deck.

I thought I saw pics of that sub somewhere. It looked pretty cool positioned between the two rear speakers. Has to be better then the sound system we have without the sub.

i thought the tl's sub sounded fine, considering they're stock. they have 100 watt from a separate amp. they should put that sub in the cl as standard equip.
of course that's my opinion.

The best stock stereo system I ever had was a '94 GS300 with the Nakamichi system in it. A 12" sub in the rear deck. It was awesome. Now compared to a real blown out custom system it wasn't that great but for stock it was unbelievable. The CL-S stereo is okay but the radio portion sux. Too muffled. CD is okay but not a lot of bass. My $.02.

The best stock system is...

The Mark Levinson system in the new Lexus LS 430. No comparison to the Bose systems. Lexus really did the right thing by aligning itself with a true HIGH END audio manufacturer!

I think the best stock stereo I heard is in my friends Sienna. 6 speakers, great volume, heavy bass. I bet the vans get better acoustics, as all speakers are side mounted, unlike our rears that are aimed up to the back window.

My friend's 99 Maxima SE w/ Bose sounds pretty good. I'm not sure how that Bose system differs from the CL-S, but it comes with a 8" free air sub and it sounds pretty good.
